While this image is absolutely hilarious, it also strikes me as being incredibly odd, bizarre.
While The Mohammad family want to be your average, regular folks just going about enjoying life, traveling, posing for the customary family group photo as regular family folk do all over the world, they hardly project the image of what passes for regular folks to a considerable part of the globe..
Regardless of the scenario pictured and it's oddity to someone from the west, I see nothing strange about it at all.
This photo shows someone taking a personal photo of a group of women in conservative islamic dress, he knows who they are, they know who they are.
The joke is on the voyeuristic fraternity who marvels at the prospect of being able to identify an individual attired in a jihab.
I prefer this scene as opposed to a picture of some fat americans clad in plaid shorts and nike shoes polluting the air with the nonsensical drivel that spouts forth when they are presentd with a foreign culture, 'Gee larry, that's just so....awesome!'
@John & Paul Lighten up to us, and the context of what we consider normal makes it funny. It's funny at the face of it. Doesn't make us racist.. That's like getting mad about bug bunny hitting someone in the face with a frying pan because those hurt. It's goofy to us. I'm sure they have their things about us they laugh at. btw... Being with the keen Eye I decided to look past the people in the foreground, being racially profiled, to notice normally dressed people in the background. Hmm odd.
This new observation has made this image alittle more relative to the realm of funny. I hope i'm not being a stereotypical raciast american when I say this but.... Regardless of the race religion or creed of the ones in this picture. It is Ironic and there by worthy of atleast an intelligent chuckle.
